🔥 Revi'i 29, 6027 AA 🔥 – The Portion Set Apart
📜 Scripture Focus
Bamidbar (Numbers) 18:20 – And YHVH said to Aharon, “You shall have no inheritance in their land, nor own any portion among them; I am your portion and your inheritance among the children of Yisra’ĕl.”
🎯 Theme: The Portion Set Apart
Today's Mitzvah concerns the sacred portion reserved for the priests – a portion not earned by labor in the fields, but set apart by command of YHVH Himself. The tribe of Levi received no tribal territory, no agricultural inheritance. Why? Because their inheritance was YHVH. Their life, sustenance, and future were bound to the altar – not the plow.
This concept carries a deep spiritual message for us today. As priests in Yahusha's renewed covenant, we are called to see our “portion” not in earthly inheritance, career ladders, or property deeds — but in the direct relationship with our Master. Our portion is not land – it is Presence.
🪔 Consecrated Space in a Crowded World
Everyone else had territory to defend and fields to till. But the Levites were called to dwell close to the Tabernacle, to serve in YHVH’s house, and to live from what was brought as holy. That principle is not outdated — it's prophetic. When others chase assets, we are to prioritize access. When others count coin, we count communion.
Even if we work jobs or live among the world, our hearts must always return to the “sanctuary” — that inner space where we meet with YHVH, serve Him, and receive from Him. The believer today must intentionally reserve a “portion” of their life that is holy, guarded, and not for sale.

🔥 Call to Action
Examine your daily schedule, your thoughts, and your energy. Where is your “portion” being spent? Is there a priestly corner of your life — a reserved, holy space — where only YHVH dwells? If not, establish it. Guard it. Reclaim it from distraction and clutter. You are not just a believer — you are part of the royal priesthood. Live like one.
