🔥 Revi'i 13, 6027 AA 🔥 – Set Apart for the Fire: What Belongs to YHVH Cannot Be Spent

Scripture Focus:
“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”Mattityahu (Matthew) 6:21

In a world driven by survival, spending, saving, and self-preservation, the first tithe stands as a radical witness. It declares: “This portion is not mine.” It is not a donation. It is not generosity. It is not optional. It is YHVH’s — and it is holy.

The first tithe belongs to the Levites — a people set apart to serve without personal inheritance. That sacred portion fuels the fire of ministry. It keeps the altar lit, the intercessor fed, and the priest’s hands clean before YHVH. When that tithe is withheld, the fire dims. The priests starve. The work stalls. And the people drift.

The Fire Marks What’s Untouchable

The fire of YHVH is not a consuming blaze of greed — it’s a refining flame of separation. When something is set apart for Him, it is no longer available for your budget or opinion. It’s sealed in fire. Touching it is theft. Withholding it is heart exposure.

YHVH doesn't need your money — He wants your heart. But that’s exactly why He tests the heart through the tithe. If your treasure is His, your heart will follow. And if your heart is not surrendered, the fire will reveal it.

The Remnant Doesn’t Spend What’s Sacred

The remnant doesn’t negotiate the tithe — they recognize it. In famine, they still release it. In testing, they still return it. Because they know the fire that protected them in the wilderness is the same fire that sanctifies their increase.

“What belongs to YHVH cannot be spent — it can only be returned.”

Call to Action:

  • Examine what you’ve been holding back — does it belong to YHVH?
  • Set apart the first portion before you touch the rest.
  • Return what’s holy — and fan the fire for those called to serve.

📖 STUDY SECTION:

Let these passages refine your understanding of what is set apart for YHVH:

  1. Bemidbar (Numbers) 18:21–24 – The Levitical tithe is their inheritance
  2. Mishlei (Proverbs) 3:9–10 – Honour YHVH with your firstfruits
  3. Malakhi 1:6–14 – Offering the blemished shows contempt for His altar
  4. Mattityahu (Matthew) 6:19–24 – You cannot serve both Elohim and mammon
  5. Acts 5:1–11 – Holding back what was declared holy leads to judgment

REMINDERS:

  • What you return to YHVH reveals whether your heart is still your own.
  • Set-apart portions are not for human use — they are for divine order.
  • The fire only falls on altars that honour what is holy.
  • REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR ARMOUR DAILY!
